Atlantis Submarine Undersea Adventure

Submerge yourself over 100 feet below the surface with Atlantis Submarine! This once-in-a-lifetime journey aboard a fully air-conditioned submarine presents an opportunity to experience Maui's magnificent underwater world.

Your tour begins with a boat ride along the breathtaking Maui coastline to the submarine dive site, located just 2 miles from Lahaina Harbor. (From December to April, guests often see whales from the shuttle vessel.) Upon arrival at the dive site, you will be transferred to the submarine to begin your undersea adventure. The Atlantis Submarine is the world's most technologically advanced passenger submarine that descends to depths of 125-feet. You will witness this watery world through 2-1/2 ft. diameter viewports and see a variety of tropical fish, coral gardens, moray eel and other fascinating marine life.

Come and see Atlantis' newest addition to this exciting adventure, the sunken "Brig Carthaginian". The Carthaginian was built in 1920, and sailed into Lahaina waters in 1978. She was converted into a replica supply vessel that would have sailed the Hawaiian waters in the 19th century. The Brig has now become part of the underwater world of Atlantis Adventures. The friendly crew will share their love of the ocean and how the ocean is so much a part of Maui's rich culture and history.

Know Before You Book

• You must be 3 or older.
• You must be at least 3 feet (1 m) tall.
• You must be able to independently navigate a nearly vertical 10-step ladder into and out of the submarine.
• Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.
• Participants should wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes for boat transfers and navigating the submarine ladder. To see color changes at various depths you may choose to wear clothes with red and/or florescent colors.
• Smoking is not permitted on the passenger vessel or the submarine.
